Being very curious they may roam and loose the way back, so these dogs have to be walked on leash. Being very large and active these dogs need a large fenced yard and company of other animals. It may seem that you don’t own a dog, but it owns you.

The dogs of this breed, especially young, are a challenge for the owners, because they require lots of exercise and need to be tired not to be destructive.
